What Ishta is

Ishta is an AI companion for spiritual reflection, inspired by Hindu scripture. Replies are written by an AI model in the voice of the deity you choose. They are not the words of any deity, guru, priest or religious institution.

Not professional advice

Ishta is not a substitute for a doctor, therapist, counsellor, lawyer or financial adviser. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. It does not predict the future.

If you are in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a helpline right away. In India: Tele-MANAS 14416 or 1-800-891-4416.

Accuracy

Quoted verses are taken from our stored scripture library, but the AI can still make mistakes in interpretation. Please verify important teachings with trusted texts and teachers.
